Introduction:God’s Way Never Leads to Loss
In tthe resent time, culture has become so obsessed with speed visibility, instant rest. In such scenario, choosing God’s principles can sometimes feel like choosing the slow path especially when waiting for the the best fit man or woman for marriage, when trusting God for the fruit of the womb and your financial breakthrough. People use all manner of approach to satisfy their urge. The question one should always ask is, are all destinies the same? Why should I go the direction they are going?.
The scripture teaches a countercultural truth: nothing surrendered to God is ever wasted. When you align your life with His ways, you are not losing rather you are investing. My life today is one of the testimonies of God’s faithfulness. As young woman, I sufferd rejection, I was called names for carrying the Bible, the same people are saying to me today, “you boldly lived with the stigma of rejection for following Jesus, and he has rewarded you”.
1. Obedience Is Not Subtraction, It is Multiplication
Jesus said this boldly: ” Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or fathers or mothers or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundredfold and will inherit internal life”. Mathew 19:29. Enter Al life means the life of God.
In the kingdom life, obedience is never downgrade. It is a doorway to increase spiritually relationally, emotionally and even practically.
2. God sees every Sacrifice you make
Many ssacrifices we make are quiet, unseen, and deeply personal. Yet Scripture reassures: “God is not unjust; He will not forget your work Labour of love you have shown to him”. Hebrew 6:10. As a young woman, I declined proposal of many rich men, who has what it take to give me comfort in the eyes of my parents, friends an people. The simpl reason is that “those men were not burn again”. despite that age were was not on my side, I chose not to disobey the Bible which states “Do not be unequally yorked with unbelievers”… …. 2 Corinthians 6:14.At the right time God rewarded me with a faithful servant of his, beautiful inside out.
Heaven kkeeps perfect records. Nothing you give up for righteousness goes unnoticed. Just let your motive be good.
3. Seeking God First Aligns Everything Else
I want you to remember that Jesus anchored this statement with a promise: “Seek you first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you”. Mathew 6:33. The question we should always ask ourselves isthis, what is the interest and the place of God in whatever mission you are embacking on. As a man or woman believing God for a life partner, what promise are you giving to God if he gives you a partner of you desire? What is your promise to God if he gives you a business of your dream. My passion as a you go woman was to build home where God will find pleasure to aboard, strangers can find comfort, where children will learn Godly principles and experience love from home and my husband will find no pleasure hanging outside the home.
When GGod is first, everything else will find it’s rightful place. What looks like loss becomes alignment. What feels like sacrifice becomes seed.
Conclusion : You Can Never End UP Empty
Always be on the Lord’s side. In God’s hands, obedience becomes elevation. Sacrifice becomes strategy. Faith becomes fulfilment. You my give things up, but you never end up empty. With God, nothing is lost, everythign is transformed.
